Your Google Ad on TV!

I think it just frigg'n wonderful how video is quickly becoming the #1 marketing

tool being utilized to sell on the net.

Hell, even Google now allows you to create your own high definition video commercial and place it on television.............ON TELEVISION!!  It's their newest income stream and I think it's brilliant!  Their advertising costs are remarkably LOW and I'm using it for several of my clients with INCREDIBLE results.

Clearly, research shows us that different customers respond better to video than they do to text. By using both text & video, you are reaching a wider audience than you would with text alone.

No matter what product or service you offer, you ought to be using video to market your business.

Here are 10 video promotion tips & tricks you can use to market your business...

1. Keep them short.

If you have a longer video, break it in to multiple smaller videos as part of a series on your subject.

Whether you are putting videos on YouTube.com or you are using them to pre-sell products on your website or blog, keep them to around seven minutes or so in length... if your audience includes people who don't know you.

You can use video sales letters to highlight the main points of your regular sales letter. You can also use videos to demonstrate what the product is & how easy it is to use. You can demonstrate not only the features of your product or service, but more importantly the benefits derived by using it.

2. Post videos on your sales pages & website home page.

A powerful tip is to get your satisfied customers to give you video testimonials. People require to know that your product or service works - as well as a video from a satisfied customer goes a lot further in offering credibility than a written testimonial from T.F. of Palm Springs, California.

3. Pick your keywords carefully.

If you are loading your videos onto YouTube, pick keywords that your market is currently using to find information in your niche or business.

Using keywords that people are not actively using won't get you results in the search engines.

4. Know your purpose before you start.

You may also pick keywords that match those being used alongside other popular videos in your niche or business. You get the added benefit of linking to the popularity & traffic derived from other similar videos on your subject

Whatever the reason, base your entire video around that singular objective.

Before you film, pick three purposes or subjects for your video. Is it to get leads? subscribers? Send traffic to your website or blog? Pre-sell a product? Answer commonly asked questions?

Don't confuse your viewer by giving them over three options.

5. Generate a call to action.

6. Encourage comments.

You ought to generate at least three call to actions in your video, where you tell people exactly what you require them to do & why (e.g., "Go to yourdomain.com to grab Part 2 of this video - but hurry, you can only get it free for a limited time!")

If you are posting your video on YouTube, on your blog or other social sites, encourage comments (even controversial ones). The more people talk about your video, the more your visitors will return to your page to see what is new in the discussion.

7. Use other social sites to jump start the viral effect.

8. Blog about your video.

Pay attention to getting your video to go viral which you'll need to advertise for. One great way to do that is to link to or embed your video on your other social media site pages, like LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, and MySpace.

9. Ask your Joint Venture partners & affiliates to share your video with their prospects & customers.

Another way to promote your video is to blog about it. If you embed your video on your blog, then encourage your visitors to bookmark it using Digg.com, StumbleUpon.com or similar social bookmarking sites.

Yet another away to promote your video using partners & affiliates is by asking them to mention it in their newsletters, on their blogs & to share it with their social media contacts.

If you are not currently using partners or affiliates to market your products or services, you really should grow a brain and begin to! You are leaving a lot of profits on the table.

10. Put a video on a CD/DVD & give it away for free.

You can build a physical mailing list by putting your video on a CD or DVD & giving it away for free to those who give you a mailing address. Be sure to include an up-sell at the finish of your video or at the least, to go to your website or blog & sign up as a subscriber.
